Open to teens in 6th-12th grade only. Join us for an after-hours evening at the library. Computers, video games, snacks & hanging out with friends. Participants must be on time and stay for the entire evening. All participants must have a permission slip to attend the late night. Slips may be picked up at the youth desk beginning August 30. Only 40 spots available! Only one slip will be given to each teen, participants must pick up their own slip. Emergency number during the late night: 793-7116.

Can you survive a night in the library? Compete with other 6th-12th graders in a variety of challenges to become Lester Public Library's Survivor Champion. There will be only one winner. No registration required, snacks and soda provided. This program will be over approximately 9:30 PM.

A new club for board game fans. Join us for an afternoon of games – board games, card games, you name it, we’ll play it. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite games to play or to try our games. Snacks provided, no registration required. No Barf Bags Required
Luckily, no barf bags were required for the Teen Edible Fear Factor on Thursday, July 8. Only 9 teens were brave enough to try and 4 teens made it through the end! Participants were subjected to chocolate covered tuna, cherry jello and shrimp, oysters, octopus and more!

Come compete with other teens in 6th-12th grade in the library’s Edible Fear Factor: Seafood Edition—I Dare You! Prizes will be awarded to the teen that can eat (and keep down) anything. Please register by stopping by the Youth Desk.
