A Word From TAB President Nick M.

Hey again everyone, sorry about the delay but I've been crazy busy with my class Washington DC trip. Boy is that an amazing city! We spent 3 days exploring the city, and I tell you that is one of my favorite places. We saw it all. The Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington Monuments. We went to the top of the Washington Monument and saw the city from above. We even went into the Capitol Building. On one of our last days, we saw the white house and as we were all taking pictures Michelle Obama, her kid, and the family dog came out onto the lawn. We had to leave the sidewalk, but my science teacher (a photographer) got an excellent picture. It was great. I would suggest anyone go there without hesitation.

TAB Executive Board Elected

Last night at the Teen Advisory Board Meeting, we elected our Treasurer and Secretary.

Our Executive Board is as follows:
President: Nick M.
Vice President: Jack L.
Secretary: Olivia L.
Treasurer: Sam C.

We are not electing a Friends of the Library Representative at this point because the library's Friends Group does not currently meet on a regular basis. As soon as it does, that position will also open up.

Our next meeting is on Thursday, June 18 at 2:00 PM. If you are interested in joining, please contact me at (920)793-7116.
