No Barf Bags Required
Luckily, no barf bags were required for the Teen Edible Fear Factor on Thursday, July 8. Only 9 teens were brave enough to try and 4 teens made it through the end! Participants were subjected to chocolate covered tuna, cherry jello and shrimp, oysters, octopus and more!
Congratulations Brody, Jessica, Mckaela and Emmett! GOOD EATS!

How’s your stomach? Do you think you could eat Sardines? Anchovies? Could you drink a glass of clam juice? How about chocolate covered tuna? Come compete with other teens in 6th-12th grade in the library’s Edible Fear Factor: Seafood Edition—I Dare You! Prizes will be awarded to the teen that can eat (and keep down) anything. Please register by stopping by the Youth Desk.

Ethan and Ethan won best overall ice cream and wowed the judges with their Tropical Twist flavor.
Also, this Friday, 1:00-5:15 PM - Open Wii time at the library. Come play games on our big screen. Don't forget, we have wi-fi so bring your DS and play with other gamers!

If you love ice cream then this is the program for you. Work with a team or by yourself to create the most gooey, richest, best tasting ice cream flavor ever. We’ll provide the ice cream and toppings; you bring the creativity and appetite. Judges will award prizes based on taste, creativity, gooeyness and more! For teens in 6th-12th grade, no registration required.

Teen Late Night this Friday!
Friday, April 16 7:00-11:00 PM
Open to teens in 6th-12th grade only. Join us for an after-hours evening at the library. Computers, video games, snacks & hanging out with friends. Participants must be on time and stay for the entire evening. All participants must have a permission slip to attend the late night. Slips may be picked up at the youth desk beginning March 29. Only 40 spots available! Only one slip will be given to each teen, participants must pick up their own slip. Emergency number during the late night: 793-7116.
