The Maze

There is only one way in and one way out – do you have what it takes to solve The Maze? Join teens in 6th-12th grade as you compete to solve our life-size grid maze. A test of memory, the path becomes more and more difficult as the night goes on - beginning with simple steps forward to more complex diagonals, backwards, and more! Snacks and soda provided, no registration required.

Also, beginning Monday, September - LATE NIGHT slips will be available for the October 1, teen late night.

Teen Late Night

Friday, September 10 7:00-11:00 PM
Open to teens in 6th-12th grade only. Join us for an after-hours evening at the library. Computers, video games, snacks & hanging out with friends. Participants must be on time and stay for the entire evening. All participants must have a permission slip to attend the late night. Slips may be picked up at the youth desk beginning August 30. Only 40 spots available! Only one slip will be given to each teen, participants must pick up their own slip. Emergency number during the late night: 793-7116.

Clash of the Titans

Saturday, August 14 11:00 AM
Come watch Clash of the Titans on our big screen with popcorn and soda provided. This movie is PG13, teens under the age of 13 must have a parent bring them to the movie to approve participation—no exceptions will be made. No registration required.

Teen Survivor Night

Wednesday, August 4 8:00 PM
Can you survive a night in the library? Compete with other 6th-12th graders in a variety of challenges to become Lester Public Library's Survivor Champion. There will be only one winner. No registration required, snacks and soda provided. This program will be over approximately 9:30 PM.

Game Club

Tuesday, July 20 3:00-5:00 PM
A new club for board game fans. Join us for an afternoon of games – board games, card games, you name it, we’ll play it. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite games to play or to try our games. Snacks provided, no registration required. This program is intended for those 13 years of age and older but families playing together may also attend.

Teen Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournament

Do you have what it takes to become the Lester Public Library’s Teen Super Smash Bros. Melee Champion? Compete against other teens in 6th-12th grade. No registration required.

No Barf Bags Required

Luckily, no barf bags were required for the Teen Edible Fear Factor on Thursday, July 8. Only 9 teens were brave enough to try and 4 teens made it through the end! Participants were subjected to chocolate covered tuna, cherry jello and shrimp, oysters, octopus and more!
